The 3rd Annual Terry Laraway Memorial Ride will be held on May 22.  The motorcycle and car poker run will begin with registration at the Pullman Tavern at 10am.  The ride will begin at noon.

At 5pm, a BBQ chicken dinner, auction and music will begin at the Pullman VFW Post.  Those who do not participate in the run are invited to attend the closing festivities.  The event is organized by Bob and Vicki Lindsey.

Proceeds will be donated to the Terry Laraway Memorial Fund, which provides funding for children's activities in Pullman, and purchases athletic equipment for community use.

Downtown Holland - Parade travels from 8th Street and River Avenue to Columbia Avenue, then south to 16th Street and east to the Pilgrim Home Cemetery.  Pre-parade music by the American Legion Band.

10am downtown Allegan with veterans, Boy Scouts, and the Allegan High School going to Oakwood Cemetary for a ceremony at 11am.  A luncheon follows the service.

The parade begins at 10am in front of Memorial Park on North Maple Street.  The Fennville High School Band will play the National Anthem for the flag-raising ceremony.

Immediately following the ceremony, the parade will follow the usual route: south on Maple to First, east to Park, south to Main Street, and west to the cemetery.

Parade organizers invite all area citizens and groups to enter the parade.  Entrants should be at the park between 9:30 and 9:45 am to line up.

The parade will begin at 10am; lineup begins at 9:30 am at the high school parking lot.  Veterans are encouraged to be in the parade lineup also.

A ceremony and formal dedication of the Memorial Park renovations will follow the parade.

The Greater Fennville Chamber of Commerce will host its eighth annual "Tuesdays in the Park" concert series this summer.  This year's series will offer a wide variety of music from swing and jazz, blues and world music to folk and blue-grass.

All concerts begin at 7pm at Memorial Park in downtown Fennville.  In case of inclement weather, concerts will relocate to the basement of Fennville District Library, 400 W Main St.

Refreshments will be available.  Proceeds will benefit the Chamber of Commerce scholarship fund.

The schedule includes:

June 22 - The Rachael Davis Band featuring Americana and folk music.
July 6 - Root Doctor, a blues group.
July 20 - The Red Sea Pedestrians performing world music.

The City of Allegan Arts and Entertainment Action Committee will present "Skate Allegan" from 4 to 10pm.  Located at Jaycee Park skate plaza on Monroe Street, the event will include free skateboarding, various competitions and music by local bands Guerrilla Radio and Evan Squidell & The Octomen.  The event will conclude with an awards ceremony featuring prizes from The Edge.
