Dorr is celebrating their first ever Fall Festival with plenty of events and attractions for all ages.  After the ribbon cutting ceremony, a walk is scheduled from the four corners through the Hungry Horse Campground and back to North Park where the rest of the day's events and festivities will take place.  There will also be cider, hot dogs, donuts, and hot chocolate in the park and free pumpkins for children 5 and under (while supply of 300 lasts).

To promote safety and fun, Wayland Union High School's Students Against Destructive Decisions group will organize a night of trick or treating inside the high school from 5 to 8pm.  Activities include a hot dog dinner, contests, a staging of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and candy checks by the Wayland Fire Department.  Businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to decorate a door and hand out candy.  More than 100 doors are available.

Otsego United Methodist Church, 223 E Allegan St, will host its annual Harvest Mission Festival from 7am - 7:15pm.  The festival will feature crafts, gifts, nuts, candy and baked goods all day.

Coffee and rolls will be available from 7 to 10am. 

Lunch, including homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts for $5 per adult, $2 per child, will be available from 11am to 1pm.

The Harvest Dinner will be served from 4:15 to 7:15pm.  The traditional ham and turkey meal will include mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, squash, vegetable, salads, relishes, rolls, desserts and beverages.  Tickets cost $8 per adult and $4 per middle school/high school students, and $2 for children in elementary school and younger.  Dinner will be served at 4:15pm, 5:15pm and 6:15pm.
