Art Hop 2011 & Christmas Festivities– The Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Michigan Main Street, will be hosting the 3rd Annual Art Hop on Friday, December 2nd from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Borgess-Pipp Hospital, 411 Naomi St in Plainwell, will host its annual tree lighting ceremony as part of its Tree of Love campaign.  Community donations to the Tree of Love campaign fund mammograms at Borgess hospitals for low-income women without health insurance.  Donors may recognize someone important in their lives.  Each honoree is represented by a light on a tree and mailed an acknowledgement card.

Outdoor Discovery Center, 4215 - 56th St in Holland.  During the time of year when many people believe it's difficult to be active outside, we are encouraging families to make the most of winter!  Join the Center's staff and volunteers for a fun day of outdoor activities including snowshoeing, ice fishing, snow fort building, a 2K fun run on snowshoes and more.  People will also be able to have their picture taken with several of our birds of prey throughout the event.  There will be hot chocolate and coffee in Founders Hall while supplies last!
