The Southwest Michigan Solid Waste Consortium will hold an electronics-recycling event at the Allegan County Fairgrounds.  Most electronic trash can be recycled at no charge, however there is a fee of $12.00 for televisions and $3.00 for computer monitors.

St Margaret School will host a rummage sale in the school gym, 736 S Farmer St., to benefit the school's athletic boosters.  The sale will include kid's clothes in good condition and slightly stained play clothes as well as household items.  Lunch will also be available.

The Allegan County Historical Society is presenting an exhibit of automotive memorabilia from the private collection of Wayland Couple Rick and Fern O'Beshaw.  They have amassed a collection that includes literature about their favorite automobile, Model T Ford, as well as license plates, posters, brochures, magazine ads and model cars.

Allegan Area Arts Council will host Art in the Garden:Gracious Gardens in the lower level of the Griswold Auditorium, 401 Hubbard St.  The event will feature garden vendors, fine artists and raffle prizes.

Admission to the sale is free with a portion of the proceeds from booth sales will benefit the council's summer art camps.

Allegan Area Arts Council will host Swamp Water Alley on the main level of the Griswold Auditorium, 401 Hubbard St.  The cocktail reception will feature a silent auction of one-of-a-kind items made by AAAC artist volunteers and music.

Admission is $10/per person and includes one free drink and complimentary hors d'oeuvres.

Safe Harbor Children's Advocacy Center will host a banquet at Plainwell Comfort Inn, 622 Allegan Street.  The "Saving Kids in Allegan County One Lifeline at a Time" themed event will feature food, entertainment and giveaways.

Allegan County Fair Idol adult winner Ross Menhart will perform.

Giveaways include rounds of golf, restaurant certificates and tickets to theatre and sporting events.

Allegan High School will present Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" in the shool's performing arts center.  The production will utilize fog and moving lights and is not suitable for young children.

Plainwell High School will present "Guys and Dolls" March 26 - 28 @ 7:30pm and March 29 @ 2pm and 7pm.  Members of the high school band will provide musical accompaniment under the direction of band director Paul Mundo.
