A district court judge or a magistrate may perform marriages within the district for which he or she serves. Marriage ceremonies are performed only at the court location.

Three requirements you must bring with you:

1. A valid State of Michigan marriage license. For information on obtaining a marriage license in Allegan County, please contact:

2. Two witnesses - a witness must be at least 18 years old.
3. A $10.00 cash fee

Anyone who wishes to be married at the 57th District Court will need to call ahead for an appointment at: (269) 673-0400, option #3.

Available times for marriage ceremonies are Fridays from 3:00pm - 4:00pm.
