Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI)

The STI program addresses diseases transmitted through sexual contact, primarily HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. The major program activities include surveillance screening, clinical exam, testing and treatment of the at risk individuals. Also included in this program is education, referral, follow up and sexual partner notification. Prevention of sexually transmitted infections is a constant program element.


HIV / AIDS

The HIV/AIDS Program addresses HIV/AIDS services with an emphasis on disease prevention. The Primary Service Elements are HIV counseling and testing, education and condom distribution. Education regarding support and referral of affected/infected individuals is provided as well as surveillance and partner notification.

Tuesdays: 12pm ( noon ) - 4:00pm, Monday evening clinic once a month

ALL TESTING IS CONFIDENTIAL

Allegan County offers Rapid Testing - know your HIV test results in 20 minutes. HIV testing can be anonymous (no name) or confidential (name).

No one will be turned away due to inability to pay, except for Court ordered testing (fees are mandatory).
