Information Services
Information Services is comprised of two focused divisions:
- Network Systems
- Records Management
Network Systems
Network Systems is primarily responsible for maintaining the entire Allegan County Information System (ACIS). This is inclusive of the following services for the County:
- All client/server operations
- Telecommunication support
- Programming and web development
- Administration / Business & Technology Innovation Services
Records Management
Records Management is dedicated to organizing and maintaining the County’s records. This includes records in all forms such as:
- Paper documents
- Electronic records
- Audio/video
- Microfilm, etc.
It is responsible for developing the process of how these records are created and the path they follow in becoming a record.
