Allegan County residents can now schedule transit trips, receive rider updates and monitor vehicle location all from the convenience of a mobile device with the new Allegan County Transportation app, powered by Via Mobility.

Now available for download through iOS or Android app store - search for Allegan County Transportation.

If you have never taken a trip with us, please call our offices for assistance in creating a new passenger profile.

Once we have set up an account, you can log-in using your phone number and book a new trip or view details of a pre-existing trip reservation. Please keep in mind Allegan County operates a reservation-based transportation system; therefore, please request your trip by noon the day before travel is needed. Only trips within Allegan County may be booked through the app. To learn more about our non-emergency medical transportation for older adults, please call Senior Transportation at (269) 686-5164.

When booking a trip, choose either a departure time (when you are available for pick-up) or an arrival time (used when you must arrive at a location by a specified time). You will also need to provide a pick-up and drop-off location or address; enabling location services on your device will simplify the trip-booking process.

Based on available drivers and vehicles, you will be provided with a pick-up window. To ensure we are able to provide efficient and reliable transportation for the community, please be ready at the beginning of your pick-up window. Drivers will allow five minutes from the beginning of the pick-up window before marking a trip as a no-show and moving on.

Passengers are asked to call our offices at least one hour prior to the pick-up window to communicate any changes to travel plans. We only allow three cancellations or no-shows per 30-day period; once a passenger has reached the third no-show or late cancellation, transportation services will be suspended for up to 30 days.

At this time, the app is not configured to allow payment of fare. The fare due is collected by the driver at the time of the trip. Cash fare (exact amount) or bus tickets are accepted.

Allegan County Transportation is a reservation-based bus service that will provide transportation to/from your home or place of work. ACT connects people to transportation for employment, medical care and quality of life.

Anyone is welcome to ride with us. Rides are scheduled on a shared-ride basis.
